After struggling through such an arid and hot red centre, we we're blessed by a fantastic lady - Pam from the Dangi Pub. For a time the pub in Urandangi was our home where we could recharge our worn batteries. She took great care of us and showed us the best central Queensland had to offer - Cowboys, Kangaroos and the aboriginal life. Thank you so much Pam, you we're really a gift to us!
Crossing straight through Australia feels like a big achievement - And it really is! We went in an almost straight line from Perth in Western Australia to Cairns in Queensland. Going through empty deserts, outback towns and of course to Australia's number one attraction, Uluru aka. Ayers Rock. This gallery is dedicated to rocks, red sand, rusty signs and our most beloved car - The Troopy.
We returned to Perth after doing a big loop through Western Australia's wast and empty outback. We found some mates in Perth that invited us in to their home, where we updated the car a bit - Thanks Mat and Amanda! We then drove down to the green and beautiful south. The south is full of wineyards, big forests and fantastic beaches. And we tried as much as we could of all of it!
